As it seems there is no end to this plague and the comics section is, inexplicably, nearly consumed with periodical humour it is reccomended that this section be quarantined. You can achieve quarantine in nine easy steps.

      1.) Browse to www.digg.com

      2.) If not already signed in sign-in.

      3.) Click on 'My Profile' near the top, center of the page.

      4.) Click on the 'Settings Tab'

      5.) Click on 'customize topics'

      6.) Under the 'Entertainment' column deselect 'Comics & Animation'

      7.) Click the 'Save Changes' button.

        I've yet to get it on my balls, though, which is something I pride myself on. Either they are resistant to the poison ivy, or the poison ivy doesn't consider them worthy opponents. Like how the predator doesn't kill women

      • BJLStorm, on 06/30/2008, -0/+7I had a camp counselor tell us he wasn't allergic. He took some of it and rubbed it on his hands. Little did he know that you can BECOME allergic to poison ivy after repeated exposure. His hands looked awful the next day. Beware, xptoast... beware.

        Edit: You don't become allergic... some people just take repeated exposures for the allergic reaction to be expressed.

My brother cannot even come near poison ivy and I swear once I touched it on a bet and later touched his arm and he got it from me but I was unaffected! My brother has had some painful encounters with poison ivy, it isn't fun or pretty :(

    • badassninja, on 06/30/2008, -2/+3When making a user comment it is best to think about what kind of reader will be drawn to the story at hand. In this case it is mostly people who like xkcd at lest a little if not a whole ***** lot. Where as other subjects like OS'es, the Video Game wars and even religion there will be a ratio of people there because they love or hate the subjects at hand. So if only 30% of people hate the subject at hand and you want to bash it in a comment it better be a pretty ***** good comment. Other wise, in a case like this, I wouldn't even waste your time and ours.

    • facereplacer, on 06/30/2008, -5/+2I come in to be a hater... just to remind people that they are comprimising the quality and purpose of this site. It's also important to note that these people are probably duds as individuals. If XKCD is funny, the dog ***** is gourmet cooking.

      I hate XKCD and just knowing it exists pisses me off. To think there are such ardent fans convinces me society is on the brink of collapse.

  • Thrilltone, on 06/30/2008, -6/+1About 6 weeks ago I noticed all these big brown fruits or seeds in my yard. They are bigger than plums. I planted some of them and others took root on their own and now there are these cool vines growing everywhere with big dark green leaves.
