I think I can speak for everyone who has ever watched sports when I say we've all had the exact same thought seeing grown professional athletes run around our screens: "Could I do that?"

While ex-college athletes are going to probably say they could do those things better, the normies will continue to think of these feats as out of their bounds.

Well, strictly going by some numbers, you might actually be closer to being an athlete than you think. Turns out the average American isn't built too far off from pro footballers.

Look at sportscaster and radio host Rich Eisen go at the NFL Combine! He's not even wearing athletic gear, just a regular suit.

As the NFL Draft is fast approaching, here is the typical size of different positions compared against the average American's height and weight. So if you want to try out, maybe try and grow an inch or two.

There are plenty of outliers and exceptions in NFL history, so just because you aren't six-feet tall doesn't mean you can't be an all-time great. Quarterback's Russell Wilson and Drew Brees led their team to Super Bowls victories, and both are well below the average height for a league quarterback.

The opposite is true too. First round offensive lineman for the New York Jets Mekhi Becton was evaluated at the draft as being a generational tackle prospect. At 6'7" and 363 pounds, he was supposed to be the future of the Jets line, but he didn't live up to the big expectations. He was often outplayed or just too bruised to be out on the field. Goes to show that sometimes even the tangible stats, like how high you can jump or how fast you can run, don't end up mattering that much.

Tom Brady looked like the average everyday man, and looked how his career turned out. He was taken in the 6th round!
