- sergiolopes, on 02/03/2008, -4/+7ffs.. if you're opening a website with photoshop tutorials at work and your job has nothing to do with this, you're already doing something wrong.
- aladrin, on 02/03/2008, -4/+8No, you're wrong. Some of us have these things called 'breaks' where we get to stop working for a short time and do something entertaining to relieve stress. We still can't violate the company's policies on that time, though.
- dennisplucinik, on 02/03/2008, -2/+2excuses
- Badnewsbear, on 02/03/2008, -1/+0You shouldn't be surfing the internet for a break to begin with. How does that relieve any of your stress? Honestly, I've seen most companies reprimand people for surfing the net on their breaks. How about taking a walk instead?
- Badnewsbear, on 02/03/2008, -0/+0Lucky I work in photoshop everyday all day. This has a lot of great tips dealing with art related jobs. But I will say, there are a few of those tuts that I won't open even there, regardless if my boss and coworkers agree with it's value.
- Jenovaside, on 02/03/2008, -1/+2Or maybe the fact that its nsfw also apply to people at home with children running behind them , or parents over shoulder, who would rather no open up said pictures in company.

- ExGhost, on 02/03/2008, -18/+2Am I the only idiot who had to look up "Not Safe For Work"?

- TroHax, on 02/03/2008, -6/+1Site is down, anyone got a mirror site? pls
- boomybx, on 02/03/2008, -1/+23Too bad the site is bugging on Firefox. But I'll definitely read some of these tutorials.
- BLOODSUCKER, on 02/03/2008, -0/+5And i thought i was the only one with bugs :/
- vacax, on 02/03/2008, -7/+3Works fine in Opera (world's fastest browser, btw)
- passedoutghost, on 02/04/2008, -3/+0Does it matter that Opera's the "world's fastest browser"?
- Asianwaste, on 02/03/2008, -0/+2Yea are you getting those damn comments that pop up over every link? I can't click on the damn links because of them. Right click then follow the link from there. That's my lil solution to that crap.
- DarkNekura, on 02/03/2008, -0/+0The mouse-overs are short descriptions of what that tutorial covers. To go to the tutorial itself, click the "More >>" link highlighted in bold at the bottom of the mouse-over. It's rather counter-intuitive, but the tutorials are good enough to forgive some strange web design decisions.
- Asianwaste, on 02/04/2008, -0/+1They are good.. The pop up is just a pain the ass.

- Xaaz, on 02/03/2008, -3/+2dunno about tutorials and stuff here but there are some kickass wallpapers here
respect for the quality art - archivist, on 02/03/2008, -2/+4the cloud tutorial is great. explains a visual concept of how light should affect viscous objects.
- goldenratiophi, on 02/03/2008, -3/+117Too bad you still suck at Photoshop.
- banido, on 02/03/2008, -1/+23"Donnie !"
- hiikeeba, on 02/03/2008, -2/+3I'm going to be spending the next few weeks at this site. Thanks for the link.
- ThatEvilGuy, on 02/03/2008, -0/+43While those are definitely amazing works, majority of them are simply art with an involvement of photoshop, you can't just go to several menus and use couple of brush strokes and come up with that stuff, you have to be an artist, I'm pretty sure the makers of those tutorials could come up with the same drawings using paper and pencil. I'm not an artist, unfortunately, sniff :( so those tutorials are just an eye candy for me.
- phronko, on 02/03/2008, -1/+4I think many of them WERE done in paper and pencil before colouring them in Photoshop.
- Mardala, on 02/03/2008, -0/+1actually I think most of these were drawn in photoshop or rendered and enhanced in photoshop. There is that thing called a tablet.
- phronko, on 02/03/2008, -0/+1Probably true for some of them, but he also mentions scanning and cleaning up drawings that were done the old fashioned way.
- combatchuck, on 02/03/2008, -0/+1It's hard to be as good in photoshop as you are on real paper. I've been trying for over a year, and it's still quite difficult. I have a Graphire, and the disconnect between your had and the screen is disorienting in the extreme. The only solution I can come up with is to buy a Cintiq, and that's freaking expensive.

- tgc1, on 02/03/2008, -1/+0Let me tell ya, i'm an artist and IT IS as hard as it looks. I've spent at least 14 years with comic book art, and it still doesn't look right. That should tell ya something.
- no1joel, on 02/03/2008, -0/+3I almost completely agree, I mean these are artworks not just brush strokes and filters, so you need an artist.
But you are an artist really, you probably just don't know it, so learning these techniques and stuff is practise which can give you ideas an inspire.
I doubt anyone starts off making really amazing things, gotta start somewhere :) - dreamtiger, on 02/03/2008, -5/+3Software, pen strokes and mouse clicks don't make art. Artists make art. Good artists make good art. Bad artists make bad art. Most of the stuff on that page is bad art. Abysmally bad art.
- Mardala, on 02/03/2008, -1/+5Typing in Digg comment boxes don't make you an art critic. Bad art critics make bad comments. Most of your comment was bad criticism. Abysmally bad criticism.
- phronko, on 02/03/2008, -1/+4I think many of them WERE done in paper and pencil before colouring them in Photoshop.
- Brodels, on 02/03/2008, -2/+4nice tutorials, I especially like the making of blue, top left. seems to be working fine for me in firefox btw
- smackafiyah, on 02/03/2008, -7/+1Dugg plus favorite for later use
- bloodjunkiee, on 02/03/2008, -5/+1good stuff
- chessoriginal, on 02/03/2008, -2/+7nice. most people don't realize that photoshop goes way beyond airbrushing someone's face :)
- archivist, on 02/03/2008, -0/+21... and lens flare
- virtualball, on 02/03/2008, -0/+7And typing "myspace.com/XxPixexWhorexX" onto pictures.

- RacerX2727, on 02/03/2008, -0/+15Problem here is you need to be good at art before these are useful....so, I'm out, damn.
- wondertwins, on 02/03/2008, -0/+1werd, i cant create a person from scratch? These are all freelancers or professional tuts... :(

** side story, they said for doing the tutorial they would send me some texture CDees for free. i never got anything. and you would think that have a ton of visitors being on the front page would significantly increase my website hits... not so. it was 200 the first day. 95 the next day. then around 50 the third day. which is about normal.
- jimiyo, on 02/03/2008, -0/+1although i was pleased to find my own image in there, the link to mine is messed up.

- CJDUFFMAN, on 02/03/2008, -1/+9pshhh its photoshopped

- Zoshchenko, on 02/03/2008, -5/+2I just want to know how to put Bush's head on somebody else's body!
- DavidinBoston, on 02/12/2008, -0/+1Use PhotoFiltre - a free art manipulation program online. It has a "lasso tool" to draw around a person's head, and then you copy and paste the head onto any photo.
- bingo000, on 02/03/2008, -7/+1This is obviously photoshopped! lol, great share tho :-)

- chkdg8, on 02/03/2008, -0/+2I'm glad the title of this submission included [w/pics] in regards to 100 photoshop tutorials.
- MattMelle, on 02/04/2008, -0/+0I just tried the cloud one... It was hard as *****. Any one know a site with photoshop tutorials that are a little more in depth, as far as what brushes to use, and one that uses Photoshop CS3.
- buggrep, on 02/04/2008, -0/+0these are some pretty complicated tutorials, i never really got in photoshop but it can be very useful
