Peter Callesen's Website
http://www.oncotton.co.uk/peter/- themastersb, on 10/12/2007, -22/+4Duplicate story.
- Cyper, on 10/12/2007, -1/+10I don't care if it's a duplicate. I haven't seen it before, and quite a few people must agree since it's on the front page again. They are all truly stunning and must have taken a lot of time to make, and a lot of patience.
- TheCount, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Thank you LR2, the guys site has even more content and is laid out better, other than to get traffic, I don't understand why you wouldn't just link to his actual site...
Of course, I also hope Peter was prepared for some heavy Digg traffic. - ChadN, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2David Huffman, famous for the invention of Huffman coding, was also known for his folded paper mathematics and artwork. In particular, he had some beautifully folded curved surfaces and geometric patterns. Here are a couple of links:

- gregmo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+12everyone of them are mind blowing but that waterfall is really cool for how simply it is
- mazza558, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4Just imagine how gutted you would be if your son walks up to you and says "DADDY! DADDY! Look what I drew"
Awesome work there anyway.

- TheSevenDuffs, on 10/12/2007, -23/+2mildly impressive, but then again, i can name all 50 states in a 1/4 of a second. AHH
- AoiTakuma, on 10/12/2007, -1/+17Nice Family Guy reference
- bntphoretwunny, on 10/12/2007, -0/+21the shipwreck was great. alot of these have some powerful imagery and symbolism.
- DanOfDystopia, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7these are amazing. Only a few people can excell in already existing forms of art, but to create a whole new form!, now thats talent

- wheeldawg, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4The skeleton and waterfall were my favorites.
- DanOfDystopia, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Some of these remind me of Escher paintings, especially the shipwreck
- Necraz, on 10/12/2007, -3/+6This as been duped ad nasuem, but out of the ones I've seen, this version has the most pictures, and the best quality ones to boot.
While the shipwreck isn't the most complex, it's definitely the most powerful one there, in my opinion. The sheer amount of detail on the skeleton is amazing, although it comes off cartoony (The style suits it well, but it doesn't look realistic like the others). I wonder how the creator designs the cutout template for these things. - Reezy, on 10/12/2007, -9/+8DUPE

Very tediuos work I imagine. I dont think my hands are steady enough for that....
Would be funny if it was laser cut.. like all the so called lego "brick artists" that just use 3d software to render objects in Lego software and build them layer by layer from printed instructions....lol

With how thin and delicate parts of the paper are, it would take a great eye, steady hand, and lots of practice to attach them while preserving such clean lines and curves. Even when looking closely, the seems where different cuts join are barely visible, and there is no sign at all of glue.
- noneisme, on 10/12/2007, -8/+1Duplicate,
Buried. - ilikedginger, on 10/12/2007, -1/+7It's a dupe, but I like the fact people who haven't seen it get to.
- xnylived, on 10/12/2007, -3/+10Yeah this is one of those things that gets posted every four weeks, they should add some sort of Digg Hall of Fame so that stuff like this can have a place and people will stop submitting it.
- Javamancer, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Now that my friend, is a brilliant idea.
+Digg.

- keikun, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7wow. i like how the artist kept the paper intact and made it a part of the actual piece. very creative.
- Salviati, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5Isn't it funny that all the people that are screaming "DUPE!" are duping each other all over the comments section. Stop being hypocrites!
