blog.wired.com — If you haven't done it yourself, you know someone who has either 1.) dropped a beloved gadget in a pool of water or 2.) spilled liquid on it. Strangely enough, there's a solution. Literally. A solution -- or a coating -- that makes your electronics waterproof.

- saxmaster, on 07/24/2008, -0/+6I would pay $50-$75 for that, though it would be a pain to have to send off my new gadgets to get coated. - skabyss, on 07/24/2008, -0/+3It says it creates a vacuum upon the device itself. Sounds awesome, but my only question is what would changing your battery be like?
- flyguyjm, on 07/24/2008, -0/+2So how does coating over the mic on your cell phone affect the ability for people to hear you?
- S68x, on 07/24/2008, -0/+1I'd get that for my PSP. So I can play or listen to music in the pool or in the shower.
- tylerbreton, on 07/24/2008, -1/+1I want to rap my body in that so i dont get wet when it rains.
- LaminatedParrot, on 07/24/2008, -0/+1Soo... it's plastic?
- shaun1018, on 07/25/2008, -0/+2Once my Zune died after it fell in a public toilet.
Nothing of value was lost.
