- JordanTW90, on 02/08/2008, -12/+59Mario is the face of gaming.
- mem2, on 02/08/2008, -56/+1no, actual decent games like the GTA series are the face of gaming. *buries story under steaming pile of ******
- LordVance, on 02/08/2008, -2/+15GTA... face of gaming? Buahahahahaha!
(article still buried as lame though)- sgtbutterscotch, on 02/08/2008, -0/+1'Tis an image. Hater.
- rpgmaker, on 02/08/2008, -7/+1GTA is the face of gaming in parties.
- raitchison, on 02/08/2008, -1/+11I'm not even sure you are serious, GTA if the face of gaming according to Jack Thompson and I'm not sure who else. There aren't even any iconic characters in the GTA series the likes of Mario or Sonic of Master Chief or Ratchet.
- themastersb, on 02/08/2008, -2/+1I hope you're just trolling.
- LordVance, on 02/08/2008, -2/+15GTA... face of gaming? Buahahahahaha!

- Whaines, on 02/08/2008, -1/+18Goes out of business?
- yuutokun, on 02/08/2008, -2/+4Now there are some mustaches I would like to ride.
- Potent1al, on 02/08/2008, -1/+0that makes sense
- willster580, on 02/08/2008, -1/+1Where is the Hitler one? I mean, come on...who wasn't expecting that?
- burnin8r28, on 02/08/2008, -0/+1i don't like the bert rynolds. i mean he had like 100 different mustaches too.
- mem2, on 02/08/2008, -56/+1no, actual decent games like the GTA series are the face of gaming. *buries story under steaming pile of ******
- doshindude, on 02/08/2008, -23/+348that is...lame. it's just some fan drawing of mustaches mario never had.
- fatlip, on 02/08/2008, -3/+43luckily they have the "OK, this is lame" option on the bury :)
- subliminalurge, on 02/08/2008, -0/+2I just wish they'd add a "completely ***** retarded" option for the extra special stories like this one.
- stretch611, on 02/08/2008, -9/+14It makes me wonder how a story like this ever made it to the front page. -- Buried.
- plbland, on 02/08/2008, -3/+17Well I enjoyed it.
Uh.. alas... I am lame :( - jeremyduffy, on 02/08/2008, -3/+9Agreed. Now I don't have to say it and face the down digg avalance :)
Buried! - thecheatah, on 02/08/2008, -5/+8I thought it was cool. By just changing the facial hair, its interesting to see how our assumptions or expectations about the person change!
- MrSidnet, on 02/08/2008, -2/+17Didn't even have the Hitler.
- joebaloney, on 02/08/2008, -0/+3The called it "the chaplin" instead.
- ausfahrt, on 02/08/2008, -1/+2I know like they were being PC but they have Staline!?!?
- whoaohh, on 02/08/2008, -0/+3Hitler destroyed that style of mustache for the rest of humanity's existence.
- Anthropoid, on 02/09/2008, -0/+1I like it. By combining the iconic hat and nose with a blank canvas for a face and simple, stark representations of provocative 'stache styles, this image brings to mind vivid recollections of famous personalities with seemingly little effort while humorously superimposing upon those recollections the cartoony frivolity of Mario. But I can see your point, as there doesn't seem to be much to the image beyond that. I won't be burying, but I won't digg either.
- fatlip, on 02/08/2008, -3/+43luckily they have the "OK, this is lame" option on the bury :)

- jgclark123, on 02/08/2008, -1/+2Well, Mario never did wear a two-tone Ricky Ricardo jacket...
Also, shame on the Diggers burying you guys just because they don't get the reference.
- jgclark123, on 02/08/2008, -1/+2Well, Mario never did wear a two-tone Ricky Ricardo jacket...
- exomni, on 02/08/2008, -0/+1I was thinking more John Waters.

- 10goto10, on 02/08/2008, -3/+7How could they get the Motörhead one wrong? Lemmy has a "my neighbour", not one of those three-sided dick brushes.
- TheMarenum, on 02/08/2008, -2/+29No 8-bit stache? Weak.
- kman2k1, on 02/08/2008, -15/+11No dirty sanchez?
- londonflare, on 02/08/2008, -5/+47I'm guessing Chaplin could be replaced by Hitler
- cuntmate99, on 02/08/2008, -1/+3damn you got there first
- assaults, on 02/08/2008, -4/+0They almost have the same birthday.
- Kijael, on 02/08/2008, -1/+51Hitler could replace Chaplin? Not sure if he could get the walk right.
- mihkeltt, on 02/08/2008, -0/+11i was wondering the same thing, how can they leave out one of the most famous mustaches on the world
- jc7012, on 02/08/2008, -1/+2Godwin's law?
- Megatog615, on 02/08/2008, -0/+3How? Hitler's mustache was significantly more square than Chaplin's
- ausfahrt, on 02/08/2008, -0/+1Doesn't fit i think they were trying to be sensitive but have Stalin up there. Go figure.
- ElectricDoodie, on 02/08/2008, -1/+2Hitler decided to imitate Chaplin's mustache and keep it, because he loved Chaplin's movies. Kind of like a tribute to his favorite character. But, Hitler's is more famous, you know, cause of the whole holocaust thing. Chaplin's was the original, and where Hitler got it from. So, it is correct to say its Chaplin's mustache, and not Hitlers.
I'll probably be dugg down since no one will believe me.- Zilk, on 02/10/2008, -0/+1I'm a big Chaplin fan and I do believe you.
It also is strange that Chaplin was in the movie "The Great Dictator" where he mocks Hitler completely. Oh the irony.
- Zilk, on 02/10/2008, -0/+1I'm a big Chaplin fan and I do believe you.
- Balath, on 02/08/2008, -6/+1If you were to ask me which one was the real one without letting me see the captions, I couldn't tell you.
- yacks, on 02/08/2008, -2/+9I think ZZTopp might have been interesting.

No Bin Laden.
No Digg.- christophelyon, on 02/08/2008, -2/+21Stalin is in there...
- StolenLamp, on 02/08/2008, -1/+31They had the Stalin, although I can see how that extra "e" on the end could have thrown you off... and the Chaplin is the Hitler. Oh, and Bin Laden is a *****-head, so he doesn't get one.
- maisteri, on 02/08/2008, -3/+4How exactly is Hitler less a *****-head than Bin Laden?
- aduzik, on 02/08/2008, -0/+3Because Stalin was such a great guy.

- jameshighmore, on 02/08/2008, -5/+20The first thing that I noticed was the lack of a Hitler moustache on that poster.

Whoever did this should consider suicide urgently.- loulan, on 02/08/2008, -1/+2Why is he being dugg up?
It's obviously a French picture (José Bové, Les Dalton)...

- atmospherePUNCH, on 02/08/2008, -0/+1As in freddy?
- robinthehood, on 02/08/2008, -3/+2amazing that you can actually distinguish the person by the mustache shown. ie. dali you can actually picture him just by that mustache. Almost Iconic at that point.
- gen0x, on 02/08/2008, -1/+0This is pretty weird. But slightly amusing.
- HydrogenOxide, on 02/08/2008, -1/+2I love that the use of the image section still means we have to use [PIC]
- rsdigi, on 02/08/2008, -2/+3FIRST ONE IS WRONG. Mario's mustache has six parts to it not five. Go count any pic of mario.

- Zippo, on 02/08/2008, -1/+2Cute use of faux newsprint registration and halftone on the hat. Great piece of pop art.
- mlvassallo, on 02/08/2008, -2/+1I see this as more Mario Pop-culture tie in. Like something Warhol would have done... however less genius. Almost like if Warhol didn't get into making timeless art and instead got a job designing shirts for Old Navy.
