- Junkey, on 10/12/2007, -11/+166I guess I didn't get the whole torrent file of that joke, because it wasn't funny from the parts I saw.
- Shuk, on 10/12/2007, -1/+302At least you don't have to throw double the rocks back.
- afx1, on 10/12/2007, -19/+1Quite the larf.
- shinynew, on 10/12/2007, -18/+10Yes that is Hilarious
wait no, the other one, Dull. - 6cyV7dpXUrZomP3, on 10/12/2007, -18/+1You had to have it all. Well, have you had enough?
You greedy little bastards will get what you deserve. - PhantomBantam, on 10/12/2007, -16/+3http://www.duggmirror.com working
- LucasVB, on 10/12/2007, -3/+178Grog... What a ***** leecher.
- fartingbob, on 10/12/2007, -9/+2Wheres the funny bit? All i see is a lame ass comic which is about as funny as having haemeroids.
- Godlesswanderer, on 10/12/2007, -6/+58Ah... the good old days.
- dtraneighty8, 11 hr 14 min ago, -4/+107Ahh yes... the days where the pieces moved much faster.
- Rikushix, on 10/12/2007, -1/+100At least then, if a seed dropped out, you could throw one of their own pieces back at them, giving them a concussion.
- izaic3, on 10/12/2007, -3/+12The good ol' days, when one didn't have to worry about the pieces getting clogged in the tubes.
- metalica77, on 10/12/2007, -8/+52ah yes now is the day of the huge 24gb HD-DVD
- NanoStuff, on 10/14/2007, -157/+9Please people, figure out the difference between b and B. What's that, you 'only' paid $250 for a 750Gb hard-drive? You're a ***** moron then aren't you?
- evilpig, on 10/12/2007, -4/+61Nano, do us a favor and STFU.
- armbar, on 10/12/2007, -5/+98Nano's comment has been brought to you today by the letters "b" and "B", and the number "you're an idiot".
- mystagogue, on 10/12/2007, -22/+2nano, you're an idiot. people getting ripped off by paying for a 750 GB disk and getting a 698.5 GB disk come from different definitions of the G, not the B.
- tablelegs, on 10/12/2007, -10/+3@mystagogue:
Bit and Byte both start with the letter 'B.' Looks like it's back to preschool. - sancho, on 10/14/2007, -11/+12The poster he responded to typed "gb" which would be "gigabit" instead of "gigabyte". That's what he was referring to, I'm sure.
- cdmarcus, on 10/12/2007, -7/+17@mystagogue:
Nano's actually talking about bits (b) and bytes (B). Which means an even bigger ripoff. But he's still a pedantic, sick guy who needs to get a life. - MaVeRiCK42, on 10/12/2007, -8/+3For $250!? That's cheap, they're around £200 here, according to my magazine.
- profOblivion, on 10/12/2007, -0/+15Even lamer than Nano pointing that out, is the fact that nobody seems to have understood...
- Epyn, on 10/12/2007, -3/+6Yeah, NO ONE on digg knows the difference between bits and bytes, apart from you two guys. Just keep telling yourself that, it is a very complicated concept after all.
- SpacemanSpiff, on 10/12/2007, -3/+1@mystagogue
The size discrepancy is not from the difference between bits and bytes, but rather the fact that manufacturers measure the hard drive size in bytes and there is a loss in the conversion since you divide by 1,024 3 times to get to gigabytes.
250,000,000,000 bytes / 1,024 kilobytes = 244,140,625 kilobytes
244,140,625 kilobytes / 1,024 megabytes = 238,418.6 megabytes
238,418.6 megabytes / 1,024 gigabytes = 232.8 gigabytes - sv650touring, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4In the context of mass storage, I don't think anyone is going to refer to gigabits, so even if he used a little b, normal people know he means bytes. A technical mistake that is easy to figure out.
OTOH, if someone were talking about data transfer rates, then incorrect usage could be confusing. I wish comcast gave me 6MBps, but I'm glad I get more than 770kbps, instead of the 6Mbps/770kBps I do get. Notice how I use little k's and big M's, to prevent nano from correcting THAT part of my reply.
And I don't bother with kibibytes and gibibytes because it would just ruffle the feathers of my coworkers who have never heard of such a thing...
- foolfromhell, on 10/12/2007, -22/+3Cohen is gonna be so mad he didnt invent it...
- syl1985, on 10/12/2007, -9/+40Ahhh so because 1 Extra Life toon made the front page it's time to go through the entire archive bringing up the best?

- mcheddadi, on 10/12/2007, -23/+16Ah, I love the "Ok, This is Lame" button
FAILS- Radiowar, on 10/12/2007, -8/+19this is very lame yes
- firehydra2k, on 10/12/2007, -16/+1Digg is lame. I love how the first dude in this thread got dugg down and the second guy got dugg up.
Anyways, I really don't care about comics. I thought digg was a user-based news feeder, not some "CHECK OUT MY AWESOME LINK AND GIVE ME DIGG" website for rankings. What a waste of a good idea. - p00p, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2digg this down (or up)
- Alex74447, on 10/12/2007, -10/+3I've been reading ExtraLife before it was dugg. There are a ton of funny ones out there in the archive.
- MackPrime, on 10/12/2007, -2/+7some of his charachters closely resemble extras from Penny-Arcade. A little too closely.
- sloof70, on 10/12/2007, -9/+4Yay Scott! You got Dugg!
- lewikee, on 10/12/2007, -1/+11What's with the bloated nipple?

- morgrar, on 10/12/2007, -0/+44I don't see "Bargh" on the Pirate Bay.
- mc7winkie, on 10/12/2007, -0/+10I'll take your word for it...
- Agret, on 10/12/2007, -11/+2Just did a search for "Bargh" under all and then under porn, nothing found.
- FriedChicken, on 10/12/2007, -2/+15Hilarious seems to be a bit of an overstatement.
- anagoge, on 10/12/2007, -1/+13I was not hilarified.

- funkspiel, on 10/12/2007, -4/+2It all adds up.
- mellomutt, on 10/12/2007, -2/+11we must have differing ideas of 'hilarious'
- hfastedge, on 10/12/2007, -2/+5I seeded the first torrent on slashdot ever. It was of the matrix reloaded trailer. I got kicked off my college server for such activities.
- armbar, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1I remember that...that stupid thing was fullscreen, around 120 megs, and all normal servers were getting slammed.
- iMyst, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0Eh, I got a small chuckle out of it... still burying as lame.
- SuperNick, on 10/12/2007, -4/+1That was the antipode of humorous.

- dedication, on 10/12/2007, -3/+8this isn't even remotely funny...the word hilarious shouldn't be used in this manner... its misleading..
- humanerror, on 04/03/2008, -2/+4That's... not what ellipses are for... you can't use them as a replacement... for all other punctuation...
- Rooker156, on 10/12/2007, -0/+8they didn't show the part where the RIAA busted in on raptor back
- senseigmg, on 10/12/2007, -1/+31Bit torrent: so easy, a caveman could do it.
- afreakinninja, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4I was hoping it was going to be a joke about a lack of seeds or something.
- deadaluspark, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7does anyone here read anything other than this ***** unfunny comic?

- Toasterstrudull, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Torrenting looks like it took more skill back then... you had to actually assemble all the bits. Im glad that winrar does it for me.
