  • b3mus3d, on 10/12/2007, -5/+51You forgot to mention the fact that it's a NINTENDO game. Sure, not exactly made by Nintendo, more sponsored by them, but seeing a Nintendo logo on some random flash game that doesn't involve a Nintendo franchise surprised me.

    The game would work well with stylus input, and there is a handy feedback form - perhaps they are trialling a DS idea? It could possibly work quite well with Wi-Fi, like a cut down Worms that uses stylus input.

    The fact that you have to choose a weapon and THEN draw it is utterly lame though.

    • modsuperstar, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1gadgetuk: You are so right on the Dizzy bit. I used to have one of those games on a Quatro Adventure 4 games in 1 cart for NES. I always loved that game. The music is virtually a spot on rip-off of DIzzy.

      http://www.elflord.net/ccbc.zip - a small executable (with source) AutoHotKey script that has a number of keyboard shortcuts designed to draw every nigh-perfectly. Run, and set AutoHotKey (or the executable) to realitime prio. Then run Chic Chick Boom and be astonished at how fast you can trounce your opponent.

    • addysonclark, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0by making you select it and then draw it, it keeps the game from confusing really bad drawings of one weapon with another. When you select a weapon first it gives knows what your trying to draw. :P

  • mikesty, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4That was fun, but I quit after level one. I like the Mario wallpaper. If I could see if there were more prizes that piqued my interest, I'd keep playing, but I'm not terribly interested in whatever came up for round #2.

    Now, with that said, the drawing algorithm wasn't the best. I found I could quickly trace the weapon and achieve 85%+ effectiveness. Even with that aside, if I was extra tedious and got 95% accuracy, the extra 10% was not worth the extra few seconds. Although I suppose my cheating ways would be discouraged in the later stages of the game, and the only way to win then would be to draw quickly and very accurately.

    • eridius, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7I disagree, the difference between a small bomb and a big bomb is pretty large. If I traced a bomb quickly, I got a tiny explosion that wasn't worth the time it took. If I traced carefully, I got a huge explosion that was definitely worth the time.

      After the levels though is when the fun started for me... you have 5 chicks, enemy has unlimited. How far can you get?

    i was able to kill 108 in pro mode. a good trick is to let your chick go into a balloon then only put sandbags on it when it goes near the top and try to put just barely enough weight to drop back down reallllly slowly, this makes it pretty much invulnerable to everything besides lightning.

  • Backpacker, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2It's bugged for me...on Level 9 my balloons were disappearing really fast...a couple of times Poster Bunny's chicks hopped into it right before it disappeared, and there's no way I can kill the ones that disappeared, but they're not dead. Pretty funny!

  • sheslikeheroine, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0There is a bug where it would start me out with 2 or 3 {depending on the time} chicks on the screen, but there would be 5 alive ones on the "key" that shows your chicks' amount of life. And this is supposed to be for the wii, yet it will not load.
