Ace Combat 6 Flying to PS3 In 2008?
n4g.com — Rumor has it that Ace Combat 6 might soon be available on the PS3. With the PS3s superior graphics and gameplay potential, we can expect this release to be pretty spectacular.

- OneSevenSixNine, on 02/11/2008, -1/+14As soon as I heard that Ace Combat 6 was only a timed Exclusive, I couldn't wait for this game to come to the PS3......that is, until I bought and played WarHawk. I have had WAY more fun in Dog fights in WarHawk, and having played Ace Combat on my cousins' X360....I personally wasn't missing much......In other words.......I DON'T CARE ANYMORE.
- WhereAmI, on 02/12/2008, -0/+2Basically for those of you that don't know what Warhawk is like:
Think Twisted Metal in air (during dog fights, there are ground battles too)

- tpclicker, on 02/11/2008, -2/+8Warhawk does look like an immense game, but who knows what Ace Combat 6 has to offer on the PS3.
- cygnus183, on 02/11/2008, -1/+12You can't really compare Ace Combat to Warhawk. It's like comparing Gran Turismo to Twisted Metal. Granted, Ace Combat isn't that much of a flight sim, but it's going for the more realistic planes, weapon, and scenarios. If you like Warhawk more then maybe you just like that style of game better. If you liked the past Ace Combat games then there's no reason not to like this one. Unless you're looking for something new, since I heard this one is pretty much like every other Ace Combat. The only thing I'm disappointed about is how short this game is. Maybe the graphics requires too much space and they couldn't fit more levels onto a DVD.

- etruscan, on 02/11/2008, -0/+2How is Warhawk? I'm looking at purchasing it. I'm a huge Battlefield fan (since BF1942) and Warhawk seems to resemble it rather closely, but I can't judge from the critical reviews alone whether it's really worthwhile. Judging from the comments here, it sounds pretty good.
- WhereAmI, on 02/12/2008, -0/+2Well rent it before you buy it if your asking people online.
I love it personally.

- OneSevenSixNine, on 02/12/2008, -0/+1I agree that they are two different types of games. I do like flight sims, but it was the Multi Player in which I was looking forward too in Ace Combat. WarHawk is a great multi player game, which is why it knocked Ace Combat out of my radar. Perhaps I will take the suggestion of renting it to at least give it a fair shot.
