And yes, you also can get bonus points for including "SEO" tips in the same post!

There's obviously enough content already out there that this person deems acceptable. I'm sure there is even more than what they have listed but those they felt could actually be helpful.
Personally, having read several CopyBlogger articles to get my blog started, I would trust their links to outside resources over someone else.
