- MMOGMedia, on 02/08/2008, -9/+5I would recommend http://www.ustream.tv as opposed to Yahoo since Yahoo is still fairly new to this.
- MWeather, on 02/08/2008, -12/+3I would suggest reading Digg's TOS. Reported.
- cawpin, on 02/08/2008, -0/+3You might want to do that.
- MWeather, on 02/08/2008, -12/+3I would suggest reading Digg's TOS. Reported.
- FirstDigg, on 02/08/2008, -1/+3Looks like Microsoft might be recommending the same thing: http://digg.com/tech_news/UStream_tv_negotiating_5 ...
- MMOGMedia, on 02/08/2008, -9/+5I would recommend http://www.ustream.tv as opposed to Yahoo since Yahoo is still fairly new to this.
- StudlyChris, on 02/08/2008, -4/+28Digg smoked their servers is 13 minutes. Yahoooooo! No pun intended.
- Badam89, on 02/08/2008, -0/+4Im watching JT the Bigga Figga on Yahoo live and even he knows the servers are getting full.
- portableteejay, on 02/08/2008, -0/+9I love when others of my race represent the stereotype on such a large scale. Really, I do.
***** this, I'm Native American now.- dilibau, on 02/08/2008, -0/+2so what would your race be and what stereotype you talkin' 'bout brotha?
- Rekzai, on 02/08/2008, -7/+42*waits for 2girls1cup LIVE*

- harshilkaria, on 02/08/2008, -11/+0I've written about this as well - i think it can be used as a Social Media Marketing tool as well! Quite interesting - Diesel used such a platform quite effectively. To more about that coupled with a review of Yahoo! Live! - visit:
http://www.watblog.com/2008/02/08/yahoo-goes-live/ - motionblur, on 02/08/2008, -7/+6I checked out Kevin's chat for a few minutes. Are all of his fans really 14 or did it just seem that way?
- nbcaffeine, on 02/08/2008, -1/+4They're all 14
- subliminalurge, on 02/08/2008, -0/+2They're not all 14. Most, but not all. The others are what you might have heard referred to as slo.. no, mentally challen.... no, spec....
***** it, they're retarded.
- ma11man, on 02/08/2008, -4/+18At least http://ustream.tv can handle 30k+ simultaneous viewers... Live wasn't that impressive.
- bitspace, on 02/08/2008, -1/+4Soon to be ustreamtv.microsoft.com, perhaps. http://www.techcrunch.com/2008/02/08/microsoft-to- ...
- ma11man, on 02/08/2008, -4/+2Also...I still prefer watching my entertainment at http://openhulu.com
- Atomic1fire, on 02/08/2008, -0/+1I still prefer hulu.com
- Atomic1fire, on 02/08/2008, -0/+1I still prefer hulu.com
- eFiniTi, on 02/08/2008, -3/+1I see a place for Yahoo LIVE, but not in its current form. It would be an interesting for live announcements from different organizations. But I don't really want to watch djbuzzkill spinning while listening to his music. I'm not that bored, I'd rather be surfing digg while I listen to his music..
- MMOGMedia, on 02/08/2008, -12/+3I would recommend http://www.ustream.tv as opposed to Yahoo since Yahoo is still fairly new to this.
- HCviolence, on 02/08/2008, -0/+2You've said this twice already..we get it.
- jongos, on 02/08/2008, -2/+3I happened to be in one of the rooms Kevin Rose made an appearance in. Check out my post here - http://starkravingblack.blogspot.com/2008/02/kevin ...
He basically drank beer, prowled for girls and fielded questions about Digg for the better part of three hours. - digg4rob, on 02/08/2008, -0/+1Just checked it out and got...
'Maintenance Yahoo! Live is an experimental release. We’ve experienced heavy traffic and are taking a breather to tune things up a bit'.
Is heavy traffic really that much of a surprise for Yahoo? - cbeach, on 02/08/2008, -0/+3Struggling to find a channel that's currently broadcasting. Have I missed the section that tells you where to look? Or is the idea that you click on dozens of links till you find one?
- djdigital, on 02/08/2008, -2/+2crap
- threemagic, on 02/08/2008, -1/+5Hi, I'm John Titor and I can tell you this works.
- SerifTheRobot, on 02/08/2008, -0/+3John, I'm still waiting for world war 3 over here.
- Bramus, on 02/08/2008, -1/+5By looking at the name, it looks like Microsoft's already infiltrating Yahoo! :P
- typicalusername, on 02/08/2008, -0/+13Better yet. Why do I care? The last thing I need to see if a bunch of ***** cam-whores at while I'm at work or at home? Why the hell is this popular at all? I'm having a hard time comprehending it.
- donttaseme, on 02/08/2008, -1/+2we all get a hard looking at it.
- djdavey, on 02/08/2008, -0/+2Live Porn?
- liquilife, on 02/08/2008, -0/+21Ok, so right now the top feed is two guys playing ping pong. How long until the top 100 is dominated by girls sitting in front of the cam trying to look pretty with 2,000 guy viewers asking her to "take off your shirt"?
- xero9, on 02/08/2008, -0/+1Obviously you haven't visited http://live.yahoo.com/pop17 yet
- inajeep, on 02/08/2008, -0/+1I don't think he's 15.
- coresnake, on 02/09/2008, -0/+1I see another camfrogger is here
- xero9, on 02/08/2008, -0/+1Obviously you haven't visited http://live.yahoo.com/pop17 yet
- Infekted, on 02/08/2008, -0/+2Wow. Not really interested watching bunch of dude with cam.
checked all the popular cams and all i see are guys. WTF? - Scooter1974, on 02/08/2008, -1/+1Looks ok but ill stick with http://www.blogtv.com for now
- spiltmilkblog, on 02/08/2008, -0/+1What a waste of time that was. There are a heck of a lot of people who are goofing off while they should be working or in class.
- digjam, on 02/08/2008, -0/+4What the heck is this..? None of the streams are broadcasting... I can only think of one use of this... .live porn...nothing more than that!
- subliminalurge, on 02/08/2008, -0/+1But what's wrong with live porn?
- Threlly1, on 02/08/2008, -2/+2Yeah, you can watch live streams of the Chinese dissidents they grassed to the authorities being tortured.
I wouldn't touch ANYTHING by Yahoo with a dead-dog on a stick. - leonwehttam, on 02/08/2008, -0/+2seems just like stick.am
- priegog, on 02/08/2008, -3/+2Whoa... I can see small players jumping into this, but Yahoo? How are they going to control the material that's exposed there? I mean, Youtube for instance bans any porn videos that get uploaded in a matter of minutes, how does Yahoo intend to do that with live content? I'm sure someone taking his or her shirt off would break many of Yahoo's terms of agreement.
- aladrin, on 02/08/2008, -3/+1The only one I visited had a bunch of freaks that just kept asking her to take off her shirt. She kept calling them creepy and they kept asking. It can't be that long until someone with no willpower decides to expose themselves, and I'm guessing they attention they get will drive them to continue it and others to copy. -sigh-
So far, this is amazingly lame.

- jamesmcginnis, on 02/08/2008, -4/+0Great, another excuse to let my kids watch porn on the internet.....Thanks [Microsoft]Yahoo for another stupid idea!!!
- coresnake, on 02/09/2008, -0/+2Stfu *****, how about u watch your kids instead of blaming it on other ppl. 99% of the internet wants porn, and if u dont like it u and ur neglected child can go elsewhere :@
Besides, aren't you too busy suing rockstar to come to digg? :@

- jm4847, on 02/08/2008, -0/+0What's the most popular live video streaming service?
- NorthStateGonzo, on 02/08/2008, -0/+2There site is " Rich ".. maybe this is why Microshaft has bidded so much for Yahoo..? Watch out JTV and Ustream Competition has arrived.. PWNED!!!
- Robin666, on 02/08/2008, -0/+4Hey! I just got that guy to put a shoe on his head...

- nibster, on 02/08/2008, -2/+4Considering Allah is just another word for God in arabic. You'll probably get catholic arabs there too. Try Mohammed.
- recruz, on 02/08/2008, -0/+0one of the big allures of the internet was the ability to remain anonymous so you could take on a whole new identity ...
- DigEverything, on 02/08/2008, -0/+0it'll be nice to try it!........)
- ssj2119, on 02/08/2008, -0/+4live.yahoo.com = confirmation of microsoft buyout?
- ahpro, on 02/08/2008, -0/+1good point!
- jakeacc, on 02/08/2008, -1/+1ooooh LIVE video streaming. As opposed to the webcams that aren't live? People on webcams are boring unless they are a celebrity
- subliminalurge, on 02/08/2008, -0/+1You need to think up some more creative uses for a webcam, then......
- rkuchiki, on 02/08/2008, -0/+1looks like a fancy version of stickam. except only 5 people can be on video (host + 4 guests), stickan has 7 (host + 6 guests). failed ripoff :)
- ahpro, on 02/08/2008, -2/+1www.youtube.com/gottabeandrew
- ahpro, on 02/08/2008, -1/+1Sorry! Didn't mean to spam. Thats a reflex action for when i go to type in urls.

- karolisonline, on 02/08/2008, -0/+1now I see why someone wants to pay 40 billion dollars for Yahoo
- kbcool, on 02/08/2008, -0/+2Looks like it'd be great if there was something interesting being broadcast. Live events, announcements, videos of parliament in session etc.
- Aeuta, on 02/08/2008, -0/+1Dam right!
I want access to live government sessions with chat built it...That would be interesting
- Aeuta, on 02/08/2008, -0/+1Dam right!
- Infekted, on 02/08/2008, -0/+1This only good for live traffic report.

http://live.yahoo.com/davez - TheFlamingHips, on 02/21/2008, -0/+0Is anyone else having trouble logging into the chat applet on a MAC? It doesn't seem to work no matter how many times I log into Yahoo, the chat applet never loads up, I've tried it on firefox, camino and safari.. But it seems to work fine on my PC. Any suggestions? I've disabled scriptblock and adblock, but still no love.
live.yahoo.com as a site seems alright but it's a little clunky... - esmond4, on 05/22/2008, -0/+0http://www.genericsmed.com
