    Poor guy, they manipulated him into being what he became, so I understand where he was coming from.

    The Cross Fire Episode was the best by far. CrossFire went off the air shortly after that episode. lol

    Tucker is now on Msnbc...More liberal this time around :)

  • metalfalsetto, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I just saw Crispin Glover speak this weekend, and he explained the entire flawed set-up for his fabled Letterman experience. Good stuff.

    Although not as "EXTREME!" as some of the interviews listed, Arsenio Hall should get an honorable mention just for his collective awfulness — I don't think there was ever anyone with their own talk show who lacked the basic ability to interview. His interviews could be broken down into two categories:

    1) Someone he was friends with:
    "Aw, dog, remember that time we were out in Vegas? HOOOO! HA!" Etc.

    2) Someone he knew nothing about:
    "So, tell me about your latest (album, movie, TV show)... Right, uh huh. So how'd you feel about that?" (Fingers on chin, awkward pauses.)

    What about the numerous times the phrase "thinking on your feet" has been lost to George W Bush during interviews?

    Also, whilst I know it's an American website, what about, off the top of my head, the parkinson interview with Meg Ryan? or the clive anderson interview with the BeeGees? or the sex pistols swearing interview? or the first "Have i got news for you?" after the Angus Deyton prostitution story? or the Paxman/Howard "17 questions" interview? all of which were more awkward than the ones on this list.

When I heard he was going to be on the retire his video, I knew something interesting was going to happen. Vanilla Ice all ways seemed a little unstable, but I couldn't have guess what happened. I was surprised that the Curt Lauder/Madonna/Courtney Love interview on a tower in front of the MTV VMA's wasn't included. You can clearly see that Curt and Madonna would have given any thing to be some place else.
