      Its a animation festival put together by Don Hertzfeldt and Mike Judge (of Bevis and Butthead and Office Space fame). Year 3 starts January 2007, and they tour the entire country! The first year is out on DVD and is very much worth picking up.

    Oh, and these are definitely quality, even if they don't look like Finding Nemo, or Steamboy.

It has all of the professional animators art right there - it is cleverly constructed - and downright hilarious - and any advertising company who had been sent material like this would have to have been insane to reject it. This person is very talented because he plays with or perceptions of what animation is - and he manages to tell an amusing and convincing story in the process.

      Yep, buried as inaccurate. These cartoons were pretty awesome back when they first came out, wish you could bury for multiple reasons (Inaccurate & Old News)

    • sl4x0r, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2glad to see so many hertzfeldt fans here...everybody check out the bitter films dvd, it's great stuff. it was literally years in the making (just like most of his films), and the quality is amazing (they did tons of remastering, and even rerecorded the soundtrack for "ah l'amour" (the one where the guy gets killed by a bunch of different ways by girls).

    And god....there is nothing more annoying that having to read a long sentnce with small letters in the Dr. Katz shaky style of animation,

      Its a pretty good video, a lot of people try and be funny by trying to appear spontaneous, but usually ends up looking forced. Dan manages to pull it off with impressive results though.

But none of those previous submissions received a substantial amount of diggs. So you would only have 7 or 8 bucks. You might be able to buy a happy meal with that....depends on where you live.
